How does it work? A design is "digitized" into a stitch language and loaded onto a computer that sends the file to an embroidery machine. Each thread color in the design is pulled through a separate needle called a colorway.
Pros: Embroidery gives a high-end, professionally branded look and feel on garments. Also, because it does not utilize ink, embroidered prints last a lifetime on your products and won't wash out in the washing machine.
Cons: The design must be turned into machine stitch language. Usually takes time to digitize (3 days), and the first time setup is extensive. Therefore we require 6-piece minimums on this process.
Note: Embroidery must be used for products needing a high-end, professional look and feel such as caps, dress shirts, polo/golf shirts, & bags.
