How does it work? Garments enter a large inkjet type printer where special garment ink is sprayed directly onto the material. A large dryer or press is then used to cure the ink.
Pros: It allows a full color print, it is soft on the hand so you cannot feel it on the garment, and it provides fast setup and production time.
Cons: The color is not as vivid as screen print since the ink is set in the fibers of the garment rather than on top. It also only shows up on light colors without a white base layer.
Note: Used for low quantity runs and super fast production times. At this time we feel the white base compromises the the quality of the DTG printing and so we do not offer it. However, newer technology is just around the corner and hope to offer it soon.
